U.S. Franchising and Licensing

Tully's Coffee Corporation is seeking well-qualified parties in the United States to join us in developing the Tully's brand and business. We are focused on opportunities that fit our domestic growth strategies. Therefore, we have established certain criteria that interested parties must meet in order to apply for consideration.

Franchising of stores in the United States

We deliver the Tully's genuine community coffeehouse experience to consumers through a combination of company-operated and franchised stores. Our current U.S. franchising strategy is focused only on franchise relationships that complement our principal retail and wholesale markets in the Western U.S. and that are one of the following: (1) operators within the premises of specialized venues (such as grocery stores and other retail stores, airports, colleges and universities, hotels and resorts, sports and entertainment facilities and business campus food service) or (2) multi-unit area developers. Certain markets are not available due to existing contractual commitments or other legal restrictions. Other markets are reserved for company-operated stores.

Success in developing and operating Tully's coffeehouses will require that you make a substantial commitment of financial resources and management time, and that you have significant relevant business experience. In order to be considered as a franchisee, you must meet these requirements:

  • Experience in operating a multi-unit retail or restaurant business.
  • Real estate and business experience in the market that you wish to develop.
  • Net worth of at least $2 million.
  • Development, administrative and operating infrastructure.
  • Total commitment to our products and the Tully's genuine community coffeehouse experience.
  • Commitment and resources to meet the development schedule established for the market that you wish to develop.
