International Business Development

Tully's Coffee Corporation is seeking well-qualified parties to join us in developing the Tully's brand and business outside the United States. We are focused on opportunities that fit our international growth strategies. Therefore, we have established certain criteria that interested parties must meet in order to apply for consideration.

We seek parties who have the interest, resources and experience that will be necessary to develop the Tully's brand and business within a significant geographic market area. This might be an entire country or a major area within a larger country. The structure for a relationship with Tully's and the scope of the business opportunity may vary significantly from territory to territory, depending upon the circumstances. Our current international business development strategy is focused on these areas: Asia (excluding Japan), Europe, Oceana (Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands), the Middle East, and North America (Canada, Mexico and Caribbean islands). Certain markets within these territories may not be available due to existing contractual commitments or other legal restrictions.

Success in developing and operating a Tully's business outside the U.S. will require that you make a substantial commitment of financial resources and management time, and that you have significant relevant business experience. In order to be considered for such a business opportunity, you must meet these requirements:

  • Experience in operating a multi-unit retail or restaurant business.
  • Real estate and business experience in the market that you wish to develop.
  • Net worth of at least $2 million.
  • Development, administrative and operating infrastructure.
  • Total commitment to our products and the Tully's genuine community coffeehouse experience.
  • Commitment and resources to meet the development schedule established for the market that you wish to develop.
  • Residency or close connections to the market that you wish to develop.
  • Appreciation for the importance of integrating the Tully's business with the special needs of the local culture and market.

If you believe that you meet these criteria and wish to be considered for development of a business within an international market, please write to us. In your inquiry, please provide information regarding the particular market that you wish to apply for and include information regarding your satisfaction of our requirements.
